Edward Antonio (Ed) Rogers (born August 29, 1978 in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic) is an utility infielder who plays for the Boston Red Sox organization. He bats and throws right handed.
Rogers was signed by the Baltimore Orioles as a free agent in 1997. He debuted in Major League Baseball with the Orioles, playing for them in part of three seasons between 2002 and 2006.
Before the 2007 season, Rogers signed a minor league contract with the Boston Red Sox and was invited to spring training. During an exhibition game, on March 7, he hit a walk-off home run to beat the New York Mets, 9–5.
