Thomas Edward "Ed" Jackson was a fictional character in Britain's longest running soap Coronation Street played first by Dave Parke then by Chris Walker on the character's return to the show in 2005.

On his arrival, Ed befriended Emily Bishop and began dating Eileen Grimshaw. It was later revealed that Ed was responsible for the death of Emily's husband Ernest. Upon this revelation born again Christian Ed dramatically contemplated suicide, but Emily forgave him upon finding out his plans. She gave him Ernest's old camera, and made him promise to send her a photograph of himself every year to show her he was alive and well. With that Ed left Weatherfield.
