Ed Elisma

Edner (Ed, or Eddie) Elisma (born April 9, 1975 in Miami, Florida) is an American basketball player that currently plays in Iran.

Ed Elisma played in Georgia Tech with James Frost and future NBA star Stephon Marbury, and after a solid college career he entered the 1997 NBA Draft and was selected as the #41 pick by the Seattle SuperSonics.

He did not sign a contract with the Sonics and moved to play in Israel with a team called Hapoel Eilat, whom he led to the 1998 playoffs final. Afterwards he left to Italy.

He has also played in Belgium, Puerto Rico and Venezuela before he retured to Israel.

In his last years of playing he moved to play in Iran.
