Ed Crane is a broadcast journalist who has worked for CBS News.

Ed Crane graduated from Northwestern University. He started his career in 1979, working at WIFR-TV in Rockford, Illinois. In 1982, he joined CBS News. Crane anchored hourly radio newscasts, CBS World News Roundup, and special reports. Occasionally, he anchored the network's overnight newscast, Up to the Minute; and, he has also reported for WCBS-TV in New York. Since about 2002, Crane has worked as a reporter and anchor for CBS Marketwatch.
