The Ecuadorian Socialist Party-Broad Front (Partido Socialista Ecuatoriano-Frente Amplio) is a leftist political party in Ecuador. At the legislative elections, 20 october 2002, the party won at least 1 out of 100 seats. Its candidate León Roldós Aguilera won 15.5 % of the vote in the presidential elections of the same day.
Its candidate for the 2006 elections was Rafael Correa, who won the runoff. The party's results for the 2006 congressional elections are not yet available, however, but it is known that the Socialist Party will not be one of the 5 largest parties in Congress.
