Talk:Ecprepaulax

What's an Ecprepaulax? If it weren't for the fact that i happen to know that the cretaceous is a division of geological time I wouldn't have had a clue what this is all about... quercus robur 16:54 Mar 29, 2003 (UTC)

It's not a widely known genus, tis true. If you didn't happen to know what the Cretaceous is, then there is a link there. Further links take you to Multituberculata, "Plagiaulacida" and Pinheirodon. Ecprepaulax is a multituberculate mammal, within the informal suborder of "Plagiaulacida", and the family Pinheirodontidae.

I'm afraid I'm none the wiser- a simple explanation of what an Ecprepaulax in laymans terms would clarify this article greatly :) quercus robur
Hi Trevor- you might find Wikipedia:WikiProject Tree of Life useful when adding entries for obscure prehistoric creature- this includes template tables for entering taxonomic details of various creatures, hope this is helpful quercus robur
