Economics education is the teaching of economics, as distinct from the economics of education, which covers topics such as human capital theory. Journals devoted to the topic include the Journal of Economic Education and the International Review of Economics Education. A journal dedicated to the use of computer technology in economics education is Computers in Higher Education Economics Review. The Research in Economic Education Database (REED) allows users to search a large number of abstracts of scholarly research articles in this field.


Economic simulation games may be used as an educational device.
