Econochrist was a hardcore punk band signed to both Truant Records and Ebullition Records. They moved from Arkansas to the San Francisco Bay Area to become part of the punk music scene there. Disbanded in the early 1990s, the group was composed of singer Ben Sizemore, aka Ben Econochrist, drummer Markly, guitarist Jon, and bassist Mike.
