Category talk:Economy of mainland China

[edit] Opening comments
Since Hong Kong and Macau remain separate economies, and have their own representations such as at the WTO, there are topics about the economy of mainland China which are unrelated to Hong Kong and Macau, thus the existence of this category. This category was ruled to be kept in 2005 by a comfortable majority. It was however deleted in 2006 after it was emptied by Schmucky, and somebody "ignored all rules" and did something inconsistent with CFD procedures. - Privacy 17:03, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

- Take it to Deletion Review. Don't recreate deleted material. SchmuckyTheCat 17:11, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

- I did not recall DRV. Should the category be speedy deleted and recreate, or should it be kept for the time being? - Privacy 17:22, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- It should be deleted as POV organization. SchmuckyTheCat 17:39, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

- Creation of this category was similarly undiscussed and at odds with CFD procedures, despite Privacy's full awareness that this will be a contentious issue. If he disputes the CFD processs, that this issue should be brought to the undeletion process. This is an obvious case for speedy deletion.--Huaiwei 17:13, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
