Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! - CobaltBlueTony 17:29, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Article tags
Please do not remove article tags unless you have reason to argue they are, in fact, inappropriate. The article is clearly autobiographical, and clearly lacks any independent sources. Neutral point-of-view and Verification from external, independent Reliable Sources are at the core of Wikipedia standards. Fan-1967 15:27, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- When your user name matches the name of the subject, and the content is as, uh, non-neutral, as this one, autobiography is a natural assumption. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a fan site. This is a long way from being an encyclopedic, Neutral article. As far as the other tag is concerned, we need sources that are not maintained by Echo Chernik. Independent, third-party Reliable Sources are needed. Please do not remove the {{sources}} tag until you have some. Please read carefully the definition of Reliable Sources. - Well, a link to a magazine's home page isn't worth much. We need links to actual articles. This one, however, is unacceptable because Create Magazine is a subscription-only site. We only use links people can get to. Can you see if you can find some other references? Right now, overwhelmingly, we have just her own pages, and a couple links to sites that use one of her pictures. We like to see articles about the person. Fan-1967 16:04, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Uploaded Images
Hi there, I've been helping to clean up and add citations to the Echo Chernik article. I thought you might like to know that several of the illustrations you uploaded have been automatically listed in Category:Candidates for speedy deletion because of the copyright rational you selected when you uploaded them. You might want to check on them and see if you can find another copyright rational that works with Wikipedia's free licensing scheme. Good luck and don't get frustrated with the process, it's really there to protect us and the owner of the copyrighted material too! --Elipongo (Talk|contribs) 17:42, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
