The Echmiadzin Gospel (Yerevan, Matenadaran, MS2374) is a 10th century Armenian Gospel Book produced in 989 at the Monastery of Bgheno-Noravank in Syunik. It is the most well known manuscript in the collection of Matenadaran. The manuscript has 232 extant folios which measure approximately 32 by 25.5 cm. The book was made under the patronage of bishop Stepanos and scribed Hovhanes. The binding of the book is made of two ivory plaques made in the 6th century.
