Echium simplex (Tower of jewels) is a plant included in the genus Echium. It is a herbaceous biennial plant and grows up to 3 m in height and requires plenty of sun. They are endemic in the island of Tenerife mainly in Macizo de Anaga.

The plant lives biennial. Roses foliate densely during the first year, the inflorescence erect with the height between 1 and 3 m during the second year.

Flowers with the corolla are colored pure white.

This plant is used in gardens. The water temperatures are not lower than 5 °C. It is one of the plants are used for beekeeping, the plant has a great risk of pollen and nectar from other flowers.
