[edit] Influences
- Removed the claim that the Mass is influenced by the Russian Orthodox rite, since it's not the case. Crowley wrote that the rite corresponds to the mass of the Roman Catholics. He wrote the Mass while in Russia. If someone can point out some citation which shows otherwise, swell!
- Removed the claim that the structure of the ritual is influenced by the initiatory rites of OTO, since a citation is not really possible and I think that it's not really true as written. It could be said that steps and signs, similar to those used in the OTO initiations, are present in the Mass. Yet one could also say that steps and signs similar to those of Freemasonry, or any number of other Freemasonry-derived rites... so this whole influences bit needs revision and I'm not sure I'm up to the task at the moment.
- Corrected and cited the quote where he writes that the Mass is the central ceremony of the OTO, which incidentally includes the reference to the RCC Mass.
