Eboric
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Euric (also Eboric and in Galician and Portuguese, Eborico or Eurico) was the Suevi king of Gallaecia (latter Galicia) (583-584) who succeeded his father Miro. He was obliged to recognise Visigothic superiority; this caused an aristocratic rebellion and he was dethroned. He was assassinated by Andeca, who forcibly married his mother (Miro's widow) and took the kingship. He was the last king of the Suevi.
