The Ebon Hawk (circa 3,956 BBY-?) is a spaceship in the Star Wars Expanded Universe video game series Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. It is most likely based on the Millennium Falcon, as it has a likeness in shape to the Falcon, and is armed with similar top and bottom mounted laser cannons. Given the similar design, armaments, and duty (freighter-turned-smuggler), some have proposed that the Ebon Hawk is likewise a Corellian light freighter. The name Ebon Hawk also implies similarity to the Millennium Falcon, as both ships have the name of a bird in the latter half of their titles. Also like the Falcon, the Ebon Hawk has a long history as a smuggling vessel with at least two known hidden compartments. And similarly, in their respective time periods, both ships have also been referred to as the fastest ship in the galaxy. It is not known where the "Ebon Hawk" was built or who it was constructed by, but when Revan, his companions, and the "Ebon Hawk" were taken into custody by the Selkath judges on Manaan, they found that the ship was registered on the Republican world of Transel.

The Ebon Hawk 's first recorded appearance was when Davik Kang, desiring the souped-up freighter's speed, stole it from its previous owner (again, somewhat like Lando Calrissian and the Millennium Falcon); he often claimed it was the best thing he ever stole due to the ease with which it could outrun patrols. The Ebon Hawk is stolen from Davik Kang's estate on the planet Taris; after a fight with Davik, Carth Onasi, Bastila Shan, the player, and the disgruntled Davik employee Canderous Ordo to steal the ship and gain access codes to break the Sith blockade of Taris. They eventually succeed, killing Davik and leaving bounty hunter Calo Nord, who worked for Davik, for dead. The craft is then instrumental in the search for the Star Forge.

The Ebon Hawk is also featured in the game's sequel, KotOR II, again as the main character's primary vessel for interstellar transportation. A year after Darth Malak's defeat, Revan leaves Republic space, his memories of the Old Sith Empire having returned. On the borders of known space, he leaves the Ebon Hawk and its droid occupants, T3-M4 and HK-47, behind as he continued alone.

After being fired upon by a Sith warship, the Ebon Hawk is eventually picked up by the Republic ship Harbinger. A search by the Republic crew found no one alive on either vessel. Unknown to the Harbinger's crew however, the Sith hid themselves with cloaking devices and boarded the ship, eventually killing it's occupants and hijacking the vessel. Kreia managed to rescue the Jedi Exile and flee with the Ebon Hawk, only to be fired on and incapacitated once again. With the Exile and Kreia near death, only T3-M4 was able to guide the ship, as it spiraled towards Peragus II. After its docking and repair at Peragus, the Exile uses the ship in her travels to meet the lost members of the Jedi Council. The Exile takes the ship with her as she searches for Revan.

The Exile also meets the ship's original owner, Ratrin Vhek, on Nar Shaddaa. Vhek demands that the Exile return the ship to him, and proves that it is his by mentioning a secret compartment in the starboard dormitories. Whether the player chooses to be hostile with the pilot or not, he eventually is killed by the Red Eclipse slavers when he tries to board the Ebon Hawk and steal it.

The Ebon Hawk became legendary in smuggling circles. It spent most of its operational life being used to shuttle goods for Davik Kang, the Taris underworld boss during the Mandalorian Wars. Through careful piloting and a ridiculously overpowered drive system, the ship was able to outrun Republic and Sith patrols alike, making deliveries to numerous shady characters along the galactic rim. Davik would joke that it was the best thing he had ever stolen, and for the number of times it saved his life, he had good reason to make the claim. It's not exactly clear where Davik acquired the Ebon Hawk. The primary systems were modified so many times that the original classification and even the company that built it were hard to determine. It's possible the ship was a developmental prototype from some showroom floor, cobbled together from several different models. Key components are obvious retrofits, from the stolen navigational computers to the uncommonly powerful hyperdrive. A number of smuggler-specific customizations have been made as well, though only Davik knew where or how to access them all.

During the game's prologue, the player can explore outside of the Ebon Hawk while it drifts through space. The player can do this in the form of either T3-M4 or 3C-FD, an astromech droid that is only usable in the prologue.

The Ebon Hawk sustained heavy damage during a crash landing on Malachor V and falls down a canyon of unknown depth, most likely to go down to the centre of the planet. In the Dark side ending the fate of the Ebon Hawk is unknown.
