Ebi Ere

Ebi Ere (born August 3, 1981 in Tulsa, Oklahoma) is a basketball player for the Brisbane Bullets of Australia NBL. He previously played for the Sydney Kings, also of the NBL.
Ebi played college basketball at Barton County Community College from 2000 to 2002. He transferred to the University of Oklahoma before the 2002 season. Along with fellow superstar Hollis Price, they led the Oklahoma Sooners to the Final Four in 2002 where they lost to Indiana Hoosiers in the national semifinal.
Ebi was among those selected to play for the Nigerian National Team in the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan. There he played alongside other American-born players with a tie or allegiance to Nigeria. He scored a total of 67 points (average of 11.17 per game), which was third behind Gabe Muoneke and Ime Udoka.
In 2007 he was part of the Grand Final winning Brisbane Bullets.
