easys GNU/Linux is a fully featured Destop Environment with a different approach than most other linux distributions. It features a simplified Slackware installer, one application per task and an enterprise grade KDE desktop.

easYs was originally a Debian-based Linux distribution called Bonzai Linux that fitted on a 180 MB MiniCD (8 cm single) CD-R or CD-RW. It included the a stable version of KDE and was modified for easier installation. It was formerly known as miniwoody which refers to Debian's 3.0 release (codenamed Woody) on which it was based.

The last release before being renamed to pocketlinux was version 3.2, released on January 14, 2004.[1]
