EasyUbuntu is a script designed to make it easier for new users of Ubuntu (or Kubuntu/Xubuntu) to install applications, codecs, fonts and libraries not provided directly by the Ubuntu software repositories for legal or philosophical reasons.

Ubuntu does not include packages which allow the playing of non-free media types such as DVDs, MP3s or Adobe Flash content. Although manually adding these capabilities is possible, it can be time consuming and difficult for users with little experience using Linux.
