A new daily service from Edinburgh to Munich is to be launched from 4 April 2007, bringing to nine the number of destinations flown from Edinburgh. Further new routes from Edinburgh are expected to be announced for summer 2007 [1].
Three new routes from Edinburgh to Madrid, Milan Malpensa and Palma (Majorca) were announced on 18th December 2006.
On 3rd January 2007, easyJet announced three new routes between Belfast, Bristol, Glasgow and Ibiza.
In February 2007, easyJet announced two new destinations: Brussels and Thessaloniki. Brussels will be served twice daily (once daily at weekends) from Geneva from 29 June 2007, whilst Thessaloniki will be served three times a week from Dortmund from 31 May 2007.
easyjet are expected to announce services to Tel Aviv later this year, which will commence in 2008, when the airline has new aircraft. [2]
