EasyIVR (division of Database Systems Corp.) provides commercial telephony services and systems using Windows and Intel telephony technology. Call processing services are provided to major corporations, universities and government organizations throughout the United States and Canada.

EasyIVR derives its name from the technology it provides. IVR (Interactive Voice Response) is the primary business unit within this organization. EasyIVR provides three distinct products and services within this unit.

IVR application development tools are provided by EasyIVR along with IVR software development services. Based upon an Open IVR concept, IVR applications are being developed using common programming languages such as the following [1]:

Interactive voice response phone systems include computer telephony components from Intel using a Windows platform. The WIZARD phone system supports up to 96 analog phone lines. The PACER phone system supports nearly 500 digital phone lines. PACER systems can be networked to support additional lines beyond the limit of one system.

IVR systems are typically found in stand-alone centers or are integrated into other technology centers including front-ending a call center PBX. Systems can also support outbound calling features such as Predictive dialing and Voice broadcasting.

Voice broadcasting systems are installed throughout the U.S. and in Canada to provide emergency and non-emergency phone notifications. Systems communicate over both digital and analog phone lines and include a simple Wizard to assist users in managing call campaigns.

Community service organizations such as the American Red Cross use this voice broadcast system to contact members of its organizations in the event of an emergency.

Outsourced calling programs are provided to a number of organizations that require the transmission of voice messages to communities or group members. Services range from providing emergency broadcast services, political calling campaigns, and group membership notifications.

The United States Postal Service uses the EasyIVR voice broadcast outsourcing center to notify postal employees when any of its centers are closed due to an emergency.
