[edit] History

The idea for the school originated in 1974; in 1980 the new school opened its doors. The campus was originally located in downtown Bellevue. The current campus is rented from the Bellevue School District. A new campus is currently planned in the city of Sammamish, Washington, with an expansion to include grades 6-8. In 2005, the school celebrated its 25 year anniversary among a thriving community of alumni.

The Catholic Educational Association Conference recognized Eastside Catholic in 1997 as one of the 25 most innovative Catholic schools in the country with the Peter Li Award.
