East Coker

East Coker is a village and parish in Somerset, England, situated two miles south of Yeovil in the South Somerset district. The village has a population of 1,781.[1]
Famous residents include the actor Trevor Peacock (who plays Jim Trott in the BBC sitcom The Vicar of Dibley).
The churchyard is the final resting place of the ashes of T. S. Eliot, whose ancestors came from the village. He named one of his "Four Quartets" poems 'East Coker'.
It is also the birthplace of the legendary buccaneer William Dampier.
