East 149th Street is an elavated station on the IRT Pelham Line of the New York City Subway. It is served by the 6 train and is located at the intersection of East 149th Street, Prospect Avenue, and Southern Boulevard in the Bronx.
It has offset platforms, no crossover or crossunder, standard mosaics, platform level fare control, and tiled-over newsstands.
The station opened January 7, 1919.
