On March 1st 2007 the Vietnamese Company Red River Communications, Hanoi, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, announced the inaugural edition of its new lifestyle publication, East & West Magazine. The monthly luxury publication, the first to be launched in the fast growing economy of, Vietnam, features perspectives on luxury housing and resorts, exclusive jewellery, travel, mega yachting, private jet travel, art, entertainment, design, fashion and beauty, with content that spans a swiftly metamorphosing Asia and the rest of the on-looking world. The considerable diversity of the magazine’s editorial and design team promises an intriguing mix of luxury lifestyle content that appeals to a wide audience with taste. East & West Magazine is intended to offer a frank and soave dialogue between the two cultures its name professes to represent, offering the best of both worlds to Vietnamese society, luxury lifestyle vacationers, business executives and expatriates. With the mood of the country and continent in constant flux, nations’ borders expanding to allow for the deluge of information coming in from all corners of the world, and the sense of ‘dolce vita’ developing among an ever-burgeoning group of hip and trendy people, East & West acts as a go-between and a handbook to anyone interested in enjoying the delights, bespoke luxury and knowledge of a metropolitan lifestyle.

With considerable coverage across Vietnam, East & West Magazine is primarily distributed to five-star hotels, resorts and spas, in-flight and in airline lounges, top bars and cafes, and select boutiques through a network of 2000 locations throughout the nation. Some high quality news stands in both Hanoi and HCMC also offer the magazine on their shelf. Average monthly readership 150´000 to 200´000 for 2007. An Asia Pacific wide distribution is in progress to be completed by June 2008.

The inaugural issue was successfully launched in March 2007 throughout Vietnam and beyond.
