The statement "became the first Lieutenant Governor of West Virginia" needs further explanation in the article. If this just means, as I think that it does, that the West Virginia Legislature added "Lieutenant Governor" as a title to the existing office of Speaker of the Senate, as the Tennessee Legislature did in the 1950s, and as I suspect is the case, this is what the article should say. I changed the focus of his title to West Virginia Senate President over Lt. Gov. The latter title was only recently given by the legislature and has not been added to the state constitution and it seems that he tends to use the title rarely and the media almost exclusively refers to him as Senate President Tomblin. youngamerican (talk) 02:40, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
