Royal Earsdon sword dancers in 1910
The Royal Earsdon sword dances, from the village of Earsdon, Northumberland (although now in North Tyneside), England, in around 1910. This photograph was originally published in Cecil Sharp's The Sword Dances of Northern England which has been out of copyright since 1974.
This image is in the public domain because its copyright has expired in the United States and those countries with a copyright term of life of the author plus 100 years or less.
