Early Devonian

In the geological timescale, the Early Devonian epoch (from 416.0 ± 2.8 million years ago to 397.5 ± 2.7 million years ago) occurred during the Devonian period, after the end of the Silurian epoch.

The Early Devonian epoch is subdivided into three stages: Lochkovian, Pragian and Emsian.
