Earl Egerton

The title of Baron Egerton, of Tatton, County Palatine of Chester, was created in the Peerage of the United Kingdom for William Egerton in 1859. The 2nd Baron, Wilbraham Egerton, a Chairman of the Manchester Ship Canal, was created Earl Egerton and Viscount Salford in 1897, but these titles became extinct upon his death in 1909. The Barony became extinct upon the death of the 4th Baron in 1958.
