Earl Black

Earl Black (b. 1942) is a well known expert on the politics of the Southern United States, particularly as they relate to race. He has authored several books on Southern politics including a series with his twin brother, Merle Black, a professor at Emory University. Earl Black earned his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1968 and currently teaches at Rice University.
