Talk:Ealing Central and Acton (UK Parliament constituency)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Inasfar as the seat won't have the same boundaries as Ealing, Acton and Shepherd's Bush, it surely won't be a successor to EASB. One expects that it will include parts of EASB and part of at least one other constituency.

It would be interesting to know when the seat becomes active. Although it is probable that the next general election won't be till 2009 or 2010, it could happen sooner, or EASB could fall vacant for some other reason. If a bye-election were required in, say, 2006, which seat would be contended? EASB or EC&A?
