I'm not a big fan of homepages and such, but I can't stand my name appearing in red everywhere, so...

A few salient, if utterly non-notable facts:

• 43 years old, I live in or around Dallas, TX, and my first name is Greg.

• My primary 'skill' (in the context of Wikipedia ;) at least) is a disturbing ability (perhaps 'curse') to spot roughly 90% of the grammatical and typographical errors in a text on a casual reading. I imagine fixing those will be what I'll be doing the most of here.

• I'm bold, and won't hesitate to rewrite entire sections of text in line with my own conceptions of clarity and brevity. Confident in my voice, I hope my redactions will be found beneficial for the 'pedia.

• I love feedback; it validates my weak ego. If you're here considering a post on my talk page, please do!

• I've just realized why I've fallen in love with the 'pedia: it isn't about me, its all about the content! The Wikipedia concept is genuinely ego-less. On the other hand, the number of ppl who seem to think we give a damn what they think about the other contributors and their motives / talent / intelligence / personal habits is just downright depressing.

I saw your changes to Nazareth article and made some minor edits to the wording on the missiles that hit Nazareth. Will check out the Mary's Well article now, but I just wanted to say thanks for alerting me. Way to go avoid in practing what you preach. Conflict does suck. Tiamut 12:43, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
