Eagle, Lincolnshire
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Eagle is a small, quiet 'X' shaped village south west of Lincoln, close to the A46 road. There is a pub, called 'The Struggler', and during the summer there is a car boot sale on the village playing field every month.
Its name originates from Old English 'Aycle', translated 'Oak wood'.
