Eagle's Nest (Ontario)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Eagle's Nest, at a height of over 200 feet, is a scenic look-out cliff overlooking the York River, the historic hamlet of Bancroft, Ontario, and other densely forest-covered ridges that surrond and consequently isolate Bancroft. 40 foot icicles dangle from its largest and most massive cliff in the winter and conceals parts of it entirely. It is a popular spot for mountain climbers to practice ice climbing in the winter.
