My name's Patrick Conway, from little Wicklow here on the east coast of Ireland. I'm currently an electronic engineering student at University College Dublin.
Interests include science fiction, especially good old Star Trek and the novels of Isaac Asimov (the Foundation Series anyway), and a varied literary taste stretching from Tolkien and Philip Pullman to Dickens and the great "serious" novels of the 20th century, although His Dark Materials remains my favourite by far. That's where my main edit/creation focus is at the moment.
As you'd guess from my college course and reading material science is one of my likes.
For trivia's sake, my login name is the first part of my college computing ID, the (presumed) meaning being: E for Engineering, 03 for 2003 (the year I entered), bf for Belfield (the location of UCD's main campus in south Dublin) and 085 the number assigned to me during the registration process. And why you'd want to know that is beyond me.
