Courseware

Courseware, a term that combines the words 'course' with 'software', is educational material intended as kits for teachers or trainers or as tutorials for students, usually packaged for use with a computer.

Courseware is a new way for managers and educators to deliver high quality training faster... cheaper... and better. In the past, trainers had to either find the time to develop their own classroom or workshop materials or purchase expensive, inflexible books and workbooks. With courseware, all the work is done for you and you can print-on-demand as many courses as you need when you need them.

Courseware consists of pre-written courses separated into convenient bundles. Included with many titles from leading companies like Velsoft.com [1] are the rights to customize and edit the content in any way your like (right down to taking Velsoft's name off and replacing it with yours).

In many cases the courseware materials will include more than just Student Workbooks. You may also find Instructor Guides, Activities & Handouts, Pre-assessments, Pre-made PowerPoint Presentations, Course Outlines, Advertorials, and Recommended Reading lists in for each course.

Advanced vendors will make courseware packages that offer unlimited number of users and unlimited reprinting rights for all organizations.
