"Eöl the Dark Elf was one of the Sindarin"

In Quendi and Eldar he was stated to be an Avar of Tatarin (proto-Noldorin) descent. Was he told to be a Sinda in the canon works, or is it a speculation? Ausir 20:37, 13 Mar 2004 (UTC)
