Dzhuma Durdy Karayev

Dzhuma Durdy Karayev (1910-4 May 1960) served as General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Turkmen SSR.
Karayev came to power was returned to power on 14 December 1958, succeeding Sukhan Babayev. He served until his death on 4 May 1960. Balysh Ovezov became the next General Secratary.
