Dzap Dau Dau is a Punk band, hailing from Hong Kong, China. These girls have been around since 1996. In the early days, they had a different name, M2R and a different line-up which they released their first single LIFE in the album of God Save The Canto Pop with Music Communication and performed in a lot of music festivals over Taiwan, Macau and Guangzhou. By the time the year 2000, the relationship between the band went downhill and decided to reform as Dzap Dau Dau aka Pick Up Beans.

The first release for the new label was the Pick Up The Beans EP in 2001. With this release Dzap Dau Dau aka Pick Up Beans definitely earned herself a place in the 『Beijing vs. Hong Kong girls Band』 which hosted by Beijing MTV Channel in Beijing. To promote this EP, Dzap Dau Dau did a few China tours including Wuhan, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

For the year of 2000 to 2004, the band has also performed in Taiwan including Spring Scream Music Festival and in year 2002, one-month Taiwan tour was held in Taipei, Kao Shuing and Tai Chung.

Through lots of touring and doing show, Dzap Dau Dau has earned a chance to release their single Flower and Wish@Peace with <89268> in their album<再生> 2002 and We want Peace on Earth, no war 2003 accordingly.

Early 2004, Dzap Dau Dau was invited to perform in Hua Yi Music Festival in Singapore and Malaysia . A half-month Taiwan tour again in April, including Spring Scream Music Festival. The Band performed in Hong Kong music festival Rockit Hong Kong Music Festival. Year of 2004 later, performed in Guangzhou and Shenzhen again. Furthermore member of Meg and Myth act and produce a Hong Kong independent film.

Early 2005 was spent preparing the first album, then recording it. After a few months production, first album Dog Days was released on 18 July.

Jan 2006, Malaysia tour join the Street Road Independent Music Festival in KL and a gig in Penang.
