Dynamo Application Server (DAS) is J2EE compliant application server from ATG. DAS is no longer actively developed as ATG recommends using other J2EE applications servers for its products such as BEA WebLogic, JBoss or IBM WebSphere.

This server contains one main component called nucleus which maintains all other services and provides necessary servives for applications to run.It provides services such as security,transaction management and etc. facilities.Basically DAS uses Inversion control pattern to establish the relation between different objects in it.
