Dynamic memory: a term used in hardware. Referring to memory that is able to read and write, versus non-dynamic memory which is read only. Think of a RAM versus a CD, a CD is read only so therefor is non-dynamic. Dynamic means that which is able to change. The information in RAM is dynamic (is changeable).
