I can't find G3pro's original nomination...minor page glitch or edit error on my part..but I wholeheartedly agree with him this should go. The kid's art looks great, but the link goes back to his mail order page. Haven't tried Google, so I'm only tentatively saying delete. - Lucky 6.9 02:59, 17 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Never mind...lots of Google. Substub; move to cleanup. Looked like a vanity page. - Lucky 6.9 03:02, 17 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Holy moly, his artwork is outstanding! But the substub is useless and nothing more than a link to his flash page at the moment, and merely having talent is not enough to warrant an encyclopedia entry. Delete unless reworked. --Ardonik 05:40, Jul 17, 2004 (UTC)
- Clean Up: A very weak keep. The subject is notable, and the article does send people to his site, so a kind-hearted cleaner could garner info & make worthy. Geogre 13:29, 17 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: advert. Most Google hits are shopping sites, not people remarking how remarkable he is. Wile E. Heresiarch 16:39, 17 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Keep; He's done the circuit on child prodigy-issue talk shows, and I think I've seen him in a magazine before. Move to cleanup, I might even take it. Rhymeless 04:45, 20 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- (Weak) Keep but clean up. Sjc 05:02, 20 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, though it pains me to do so. If a non-advert article was written about him I would vote to keep, but adverts shouldn't be sent to cleanup. It has to go. But first, hand me the credit card. This guy's work is fantastic! SWAdair | Talk 06:52, 20 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Needs clean up. Arevich 13:39, 22 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Weak Keep. I've never seen any adverts or read an article which mentioned him to my knowledge, but I have heard of him before in various artistic circles. He's not afforded much prestige or respect, due mainly because his subject matter is so limited... but his talent was well spoken of, at least, among other artists. It warrants a keep, and it even seems neither he nor his parents wrote the article; there would probably be a lot more substance to it if they did. Heh. Move to clean-up. - Borderline keep for cleanup. If he weren't only 16, automatic delete as non-notable (unless he sold as many prints as Thomas Kinkade). Just make sure the article makes clear that he's a commercial artist or illustrator (albeit a talented one) who sells prints for home display. Saying that his work is "inspired" by animals is a little silly—it isn't like they're a mere point of departure for him, his images are of animals. Postdlf 14:04, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)
