Ipswich Town Football Club (also known as The Blues, Town or The Tractor Boys) are an English professional football club based in Ipswich, East Anglia. They play in the Football League Championship, appearing in the FA Premier League as recently as 2001-2.

Ipswich have won the English league title once and been runners up twice. They have also won the FA Cup and the UEFA Cup in 1981.

The club was founded in xxxx, in xxxx, and play their home games at Portman Road. Ipswich have a long-standing and fierce rivalry with East Anglian rivals Norwich City, with whom they contest the East Anglian derby.
