Dwerryhouse

Dwerryhouse is an English surname that has existed in the North West of England since the Seventeenth Century. The United Kingdom Census 1841 returns for England indicate that the surname originates in the area around Prescot and Cronton in the County of Lancashire. It is of interest to people investigating family names one name studies because it is a very rare name, so its spread across the country when increased mobility occurred in the Nineteenth Century is indicative of movement of people from rural areas to larger towns and cities.
