[edit] Businesses

Dave started his first business at age 17, from the back of his Dad's shop. While success was almost instant, college called and he had to allow the business to die. The early success was important to future endeavors as he learned that it was important to attempt projects and not worry about the consequences of failure.

In April 2006, Dave launched First Impression Concepts.

[edit] Political Activism

Dave's first taste of political activism was during Bill Clinton's 1992 run for President.

Dave was also involved in the riots during the WTO in Seattle in 1999. His interview with KIRO seemed to express the opinions of most Seattlites about the imposition of the meetings and also the discontent with the police actions that were taken at the time.

Pot Kettle Black is a political rant....focusing recently on the void left by the absence of Hunter S. Thompson.

[edit] Motivational Speaker

Over the past few months, Dave has begun speaking to small groups of friends and co-workers....

He is sometimes referred to as "the ghetto Tony Robbins" but he has a slight rub with that as Tony Robbins drops a few too many F-Bombs.

There are rumors that Dave will release a book on goal setting and also on living a positive life.

[edit] 2006 NYC Marathon

Dave is an entrant in the 2006 ING NYC Marathon.

He is currently training with Team For Kids, the charity arm of the New York Road Runners.

[edit] Charities

Dave is an active participant in many charitable organizations.

His softball team, Sporting Wood, with the popular SI.com columnist, Stewart Mandel, is one of the top fundraising teams in New York City.
