[edit] Maybe I'm just a European

... But I don't really get this article. How could it be that "At that time, Bengali newspapers such as Sambad Prabhakar and Sambad Bhaskar were defiling the moral environment in Bengal" ? In what way? From whose point of view? Please either explain this absurdity or remove it - Mark Hau

"defiling the moral environment" is clearly not objective. A more objective description would probably be to refer to them as being lowbrow, vulgar, or crass, assuming these are correct. -- Urusai

    • That comment was by Sivanath Sastri, whose book I have marked as reference. However to clarify further I have added quotes to those words. -- P.K.Niyogi 00:16, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
