Nice pics on the George Orwell page. if the second one you added wasn't qite as long it would be perfect, but such is life--Acebrock 20:35, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Hey nice picture Image:Mother_and_baby_Orwell.JPG, but could you provide a source for it? Anything to help indicate exactly where the image is from. If you got it from an online source, provide the link. We need it to be absolutely sure about the copyright status. Thanks. -- Kevin_b_er 01:59, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Em- and en-dashes
Greetings! Renaissance is on my watchlist and I saw your question. Here is the main Manual of Style article on the topic: Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_(dashes). There is no one "right" way in Wikipedia. I used to use the em-dash all the time, but in the last year or so began to use the spaced en-dash (xxx – xxx) for the standard grammatical dash, since it seemed to be the way other writers were leaning. Either way is ok. the double hyphen (--) should be replaced where found (I use it on talk pages sometimes, and when I'm typing fast and not thinking). Hope this helps! [edit] IPA
Not wanting to nit pick but you say you "fully understand the International Phonetic Alphabet" and claim you are on "ETERNAL JIHAD AGAINST NON-IPA PRONUNCIATION ON WIKIPEDIA" yet you have changed the pronunciation of "Skype" from the correct /skʌɪp/ to /skaɪp/. Just letting you know.
