Dvorak Awards

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Dvorak Awards was created by the well known columnist on computing, John C. Dvorak for "excellence in telecommunications". The awards were sponsored primarily by Ascend Communications but also by a host of other co-sponsors. The awards ran from 1992 - 1997 and ended under questionable circumstances.

The judging was done by Dvorak and an award committee made up of individuals recruited annually from the computing industry acknowledged as experts.
