Duvie Westcott (born 30 October 1977 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Canadian ice hockey defenseman who currently plays for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the NHL.

[edit] Playing career
Westcott was signed by Columbus as an undrafted free agent on 10 May 2001. Westcott had played 155 career NHL games, scoring 6 goals and 36 asssists for 42 points. He had also compiled 251 penalty minutes. During the NHL lockout, he played in Finland. He attended a Jesuit high school for boys in Winnipeg by the name of St. Paul's High School.

Duvie has always been fan favorite with his superior puck movement and timely defensive goals. His outstanding success, with his relatively small stature for a defenseman, has made him an inspiration for many young fans. His biggest fans have followed his career with extreme diligence. His two biggest fans are Andrew Delvaux and Michael Korrer who hail from Michigan's upper peninsula and have loved Duvie Westcott and the Columbus Blue Jackets for many years.
