A Dutty Snowcone is a variation of the snowcone popular in Scarborough, Ontario. It is a snowcone with a small amount of cherry syrup and then heavily flavoured to taste with bitters. This popular summertime treat is almost exclusively made with Angostura Bitters due to the influence of the large populartion of immigrants from Trinidad. The name Dutty Snowcone is likely derived from the patois term for dirty.

A recent variation of the Dutty Snowcone is called the STC. It was invented by Rishi Narinesingh a bartender at the Canyon Creek Chophouse in the vicinity of Scarborough Town Centre. It is a updated cocktail verstion of the classic dessert, containing of shaved ice blended with cherry brandy, sweet vermouth, grenadine and Angostura Bitters. The name STC is an acronym for the Scarborough Town Cocktail.
