Dutch Square is one of South Carolina's oldest shopping malls, with nearly 600,000 square feet of retail space. The mall is located just off Interstate 20 and is at the crossroads of Bush River Road and Broad River Road in Columbia, South Carolina.
Originally opened in 1971, the mall opened originally with J.B. White, Tapp's, and Woolworth. Current anchors include Belk and Burlington Coat Factory. Also a part of the property is Office Depot and AMC Theatre 14
The mall is known for having the largest Belk department store in town. Prior to Belk it was also the home for many years of Columbia's second Cromer's P-Nuts store - locally famous for its "Guaranteed Worst In Town" slogan and, at the Dutch Square location, its live monkeys.
